Long Break

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I have taken a long break. As you can see there is a new member to the fam. Taking this long break made me realize that you need to keep up with God and his works. I went to church a few times which helped me realize more things. (I haven’t been to church in a long time so this is good) I just came to a point where I needed to completely soak in the word of God in order to move past certain points and I’m so glad that I took the time to pray and read the bible because God really did help me out and move me past my barriers. It’s an awesome feeling when you know you’ve accomplished something great. it’s like getting a present that’s so incredible that words can’t describe. I want to be able to have everyone feel that way whether you believe in God or not. But I would recommend talking to God about everything because he always seems to have an answer whether he shows you it or not. Everything happens for a reason, and even though sometimes its not good, something will always come out of it. Alright, we’ll that’s a long enouhg blog for now.

Deep Blue

I took this one while I was on my friend Dakota’s boat in the Chesapeake. I got kinda sea sick that day and we didn’t catch any big fish but I had fun.

“The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.” Isaiah 40:28

I like this verse because it fits very well with most of my pictures.  I think this verse is telling us that we need to go beyond our comfortable boundaries and help others in need.  If you don’t feel comfortable hanging around a certain person but they look like they need help, you should suck it up and help them.  God created this world so we can help each other make it a better place.  He didn’t create it so that we can hurt eachother and live selfish lives.  So today when you see someone in need, go see whats wrong and help them out.

American Falls

I went to Niagara Falls with my buddy Daycoat and our moms.  This isn’t Niagara falls but the American falls right next to it.  I surprisingly didn’t get a lot of good shots up in Canada even though i took a bunch.  Anyway it was an awesome summer car trip and i had a lot of fun.

“I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13

Everywhere I go to take pictures I am always shocked and amazed at how interesting the environment is and how blessed I am to be able to capture these moments in some of my pictures.  The Lord blesses us everyday with sites of natural beauty and we should take advantage of these moments and treasure them in our hearts.  God provides so much for us in life and if we can not thank him for that then we are to close minded.  Today, when you happen to see something beautiful and awesome, take note of it and keep in your mind how lucky you are to have seen it.

I took this while I was in Amana Iowa. It’s a nice little colony. This is one of the rare shots I didn’t know how it turned out so good. This won me third place in a photo contest, which I still need to pick up my money for.

I believe that if we do what God asks us to do, than we will receive beauty and wonders in return. Even if you don’t believe in God, if you do something your heart knows is right then you will get something magnificent in return. Every time I see this picture I think to myself, wow I must be so lucky to have captured this moment in time. And to be able to use this to connect with others is a blessing. Keep these things in your mind when you are doing your daily activities and maybe, you just might receive something awesome.

Schools Out!

Schools out today cuz of ice on roads and freezing rain. Now im hoping orchestra will be out but i doubt that.  My package of new mallets and accessories is coming today so ill be practicing all day long.  Got julliard auditions to do by the 29th so I got to get a move on with those. Still deciding on the picture of the day so I will post that later.  Peace Out Yo.

Buffalo Falls

So I went to Ithaca New York to visit Cornell University. Unfortunately, I didn’t like the college but I did like this park. I took a bunch of pictures and such. Me and my buddy Dakota had a fun time up there with all the snow! Our moms did too.
